Could anyone tell me how to convert text to curves in Illustrator? I normally work in Corel on a PC, but I am designing with another company that uses a Mac, and we need to exchange files. We both have Illustrator 10, but neither one of us are very familiar with it. Any and all replies are greatly appreciated.

I would add : "object->Expand appearance" if ever the file you have to exchange includes functions from the "Effect" menu. Effect is the way to produce the finest oultine in AI 10.
To weld some script, "Window->pathfinder-Add" and expand (as far as you don't expand, you wil me able to edit the object as different one).
