In light of the weeks postings and rantings, I just got this e-mail and I just couldn't resist posting this. Especially what Rosemary said about going and shooting to have some fun(my partner agrees with her, B/T/W)...
While I have my own opinions on this whole matter, I have chosen to keep them to myself. It is a shame that when one person gets piled on, the "mob mentality" takes over and a whole lot more people take the opportunity to pile on even more.
I have talked to, chatted with, and e-mailed a lot of the people involved over the course of the last several years. Some of them I have even had the pleasure or displeasure of meeting. Each have their own charms and thorns.
Sign people, for the most part, have large egos to begin with. I believe that a lot of talented people do. That's one of the things that pushes us to even greater heights and makes us the special people that we are.
It is when these egos clash that the fireworks start. Two or three whirlwinds on a collision course. These clashes lowers the whole board to the lowest human common denominators. Hate. Spite. Name calling. Finger pointing. Just plain old being rude, mean, and nasty.
We all agreed to abide by the rules of the BullBoard when we all registered. I will grant you that most of probably didn't really read the rules and just grazed over them in order to push the "register" button.
Don't agree to them and then **** and moan about it when you are asked to abide them. You can't play nice, then just don't play. This ain't your house. We are all guests here. I try to remember that.
We all have our moments when we lose control of our emotions. Lord knows I have had my own fair share of them! LOL! Just keep it to a minimum.
Time will heal all wounds. I sure hope that parties involved will calm down, think things over, apologize, and forgive.
C'mon... Someone has to know what ever happened to Mike Palmateer...

Ummm...The Little Leprechaun goalie for the Capitals who was in the hospital for knee surgery and got a phone call asking him to play that night so he went to the game in an ambulance and played.
Later forced to retire because his knees were torn up too bad.
That the guy?

Mikey P had some great years for the Toronto Maple Leafs before donning the Caps jersey...backstopped some for some greats like Darryl Sittler and Lanny McDonald...
He is happily retired and selling Real Estate for ReMAX in Aurora, Ontario, just north of Toronto...I see his listings in my local paper from time to time....
he had an earlier venture as a bar owner of a placed called, you guessed it, "Palmateer's"...
