Thanks George for all your input. Was fun to watch the various folks (including The Mayor, Happy Birthday by the way Steve)apply their skills. I got a kick out of the dialogue in the background at times as well. Question, ...what brush is Pierre Tardif using?

Thanks again!

I received my video today, (6 / 6 /03). I haven't had the time to watch it yet but know I will enjoy it.

Thanks George. It's people like you that make this a great place to visit.

Dave those are from Mack. Flat waterbase. Real good brush and cheap also. I use waterbase paint all the time that's why. But found that they flow very well with One Shot.

Pierre,
It appeared that the paint was flowing well. Looks like one could really load the brush up too. Without knowing, I wondered if it was a Handover, never having seen one.

Thanks Pierre!

Thanks George for the video. I am watching it right now. I love the live music in the background, the radio station was playing good music too.

Pierre,
I saw those brushes in Ft. Myers, and liked them.
Do you have a specific name or part number for them? I looked in the Mack catalog, but didn't know exactly which ones they were.

Donald...

They ware the 2962 Seies I believe. They are half Kazan squirrel and half Taklon. The synthetic hairs give them more body to hold up under water based paint. A normal brush used in latex would be very floppy, or wilted looking. My grandaughter won a set in the draw, and I've been eying them, but they're hers. I think they look real good, and would probably be pretty snappy in 1-shot, but I have yet to try them.

I wonder when someone is going to try making an all synthetic quill or flat ? I'd be the first to want to try one...they would be interesting. I worry sometimes that the dwindling market in brushes will one day make them hard to get.....

Thanks Jeff,
I looked in my catalog and found them. I was getting an order together from Mack, so I'm glad I got this info beforehand.
