When you laminate white-painted aluminum (polymetal) to HDU, do you scuff with a belt sander, orbital sander or etch with some chemical. Do you use epoxy or some other adhesive? Thanks -------------------- Wayne Webb Webb Signworks Chipley, FL 850.638.9329 wayne@webbsignworks.com

Dennis- I believe the correct term is Gorilla SNOT... make sure the HDU is good and dust free. I have a customer that actually coats the HDU out qucikly with an Acrylic Poly first---says he gets a better bond that way... -------------------- Ted Nesbitt ND Graphic Products Limited

NO, Ted. Its NOT Gorilla Snot. Gorilla Snot is something we stock in our recording studio drum room. Its a specific for use on drumsticks to keep them from sliding out of the drummer's hands. No joke! k31 -------------------- Pierre St.Marie Stmariegraphics Kalispell,Mtwww.stmariegraphics.com ------------------ Plan on knowing everything before I die and time's running out!

I scuff just enough to knock off the shine on the aluminum. I use Dura Finish which is a bonding epoxy, the same stuff you can add a little One Shot to, and flow on the sign graphics letters, borders, etc. -------------------- Dave Sherby "Sandman" SherWood Sign & Graphic Design Argyle TX 76226 sherwoodsign@sbcglobal.net
