I took the first small load of stuff to our new place in Yarrow today. And after I unloaded it I sat on my tailgate in the driveway and enjoyed my lunch I bought at the local deli. Sure tasted good...

And while I was enjoying my sandwich it struck me... I'm moving to a whole new town for me to influence with my design & signage. Best of all I'll have NO competition in town. AWESOME! Granted, its a very small town and there are lots of sign folks nearby... but right there in Yarrow.... I'm the ONLY sign guy.

I think I'll have me some fun!

Dan I know the feeling....regarding window painters.....I seem to be the only one on the upper peninsula.....there is one other 'wanna bee' , but he doesn't have a clue.

It's really wierd when you are the only one in town, but i'm excited!

A:)

I always see Dan as such a look-on-the-bright-side kind of guy, that since grumbling about the competition has become a somewhat familiar theme around here I was sure this post was going to be Dan showing us that a no competition town would a bad thing.

I guess, with the right attitude, both sides of anything can look bright!

Doug

I think you may be right on this one...

You should see the signs in our little town with no competitive sign guys vying for the business. Homemade signs abound... and the rest seem to be a way the business owners saved lots of money.

Off hand there aren't any imaginative signs there I can think of... YET. But we'll do our part & hopefully raise the bar for other sign folks who do business there.

But the word's out that we have moved to town. There was a steady stream of neighbors poking by today to welcome us and perhaps to try & figure out exactly what changes we have in mind for the property.

They have NO IDEA! [Smile]

Like I say.... I know I'm gonna have a lot of fun!

Yarrow will never be the same! [Smile]
