Donald Thomson and I would like to host next years dixie meet and would appreciate any comments. We are thinking March 26 27 28 2004 and it will be called the cival war 2004. Since we are on the mason dixon line we thought we could get alot of our northern and southern friends together for an awsome meet. Donald has a new 60x100 shop that has way to clean floors and I am sure we can spill some paint on it to make it look like a real sign shop. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and PUT it down on your calenders NOW!

What could possibly be CIVAL about a WAR?? Fighting among States I can understand. Even NORTHERN AGGRESSION would be more suitable. Visions of SKULLS from dead soilders(either side) with knives(exacto) MIGHT be somewhat confussing to the First Time Newbie! I would like to attend, just knowing that Dixie Meets are usally more friendly and layed back,as opposed to others I have attened.

Pat, Are you still harboring some ill feelings from having been involved in the Civil War? Just Kidding! Ryan and I both have friends from up North, and we thought it would be fun to play up the North against the South theme on this.
My shop is in Laurens, SC. That is about 80 miles from Charlotte, NC, 35 Miles from Spartanburg, SC, 50 miles from Columbia, SC, and 40 miles from Greenville, SC. I have a map that I can fax to anyone that can make it to those cities.

I start makin' plans to come...maybe I can bring my crew too!(That's my kids) It's been a while since they've made a meet. Sounds like fun, and not too far from home. And Jimmy, I suppose we'd be comin' right by you...chance you can hitch a ride or tag along too.

You KNOW us Yankees, damn Yankees at that, kicked OP the heck out of town... You left on your own. LOL!
We are going to have to check our schedule to see if this is do-able. The Dixie Meets have been great!

Nancie, What are the ages of your kids? Mine are 3,5,&11 all girls.
George, Do you and OP get more ornary the further South you go? You couldn't get much more South than FT. Myers. You could go deeper South though. Just ask some of the GA and AL folks.

OP is gonna be ornery regardless of the location. As for me, my orneriness came from the constant barrage of abuse from the "Young-ster" Hell, he'd make the Pope crabby!
