Oooh ooooh Richard - yes, please DO come on up!! (or is it down now?). We've got another brand new fire engine to paint!! In fact, how about doing a paint job for us? Maybe we can get Crazy Jack, Stef, how about Cisco, anyone else, to come on up and all work on the fire engine. We need the LFPD logo put on. Got a Board meeting on June 10th - give me a call & we can work out the proposal & maybe I can get it approved for you to do the job. It'll be gold leaf/black lettering. I can send you guys the specs and design. I'll throw in a BBQ, swimming, overnighter, beer, whatever. Give me a holler. What is this - mini-meet time? Let's go for it! Yo Adrienne - you always wanted to come up. For those that don't know, LFPD is Lockwood Fire Protection District - our small volunteer fire dept. in my neck of the woods. I just so happen to be a Board Director (someone hornswaggled me into that one!) BombaDear 209-296-6868 jackie@volcanoca.com

I am not in a good place, today, to talk on the phone, but I can reply here. (so I am)
I would be interested and willing to drive out to your place for a revival! I have EVERYthing in the world going on until June 8th, after that I can go anywhere and do anything. Going out to your place sounds like a wonderful place to be when my chaos comes to a screeching hault next weekend.
Post the time and date and I am THERE, with or without the crazy people I am related to.
Hey, while we are at it, with local get togethers... Heath and I are having a giant BBQ at our place on July 19th. Live band, Open pit, trampolean and video games for the kids and if they come you are responsible for keeping the little buggers alive though, and we'll have a keg or two. Potluck with the variety of munchies or other libations AND if ya want you can bring your own slab of beef to throw on the BBQ to cook with what we will have there.
e-mail me for the personal invite (the map) to that gig.

So glad to hear from you Stef!!! And, as always, if you ever need a fast "get-away", come on over. For the rest - hey, how about June 21st at my place. Then a month later, July 19th, at Stef's. I'll do a pot luck thingy too. Sorry, no band. But as I recall, there's some excellent "pickers" out there, and maybe a harmonica player or two. And as always, we don't do bad at entertaining each other! In the meantime, anyone's welcome up here anytime. I know when Crazy Jack gets an idea, it's gotta get going. So I'll probably see him before then. I'm usually around. No serious plans 'til July 22nd. Cruise on up. BombaDear

We had such a great time do`n this rig. Hand lettered, and computer sign gold. It took Francisco & I about four hours to do this job. The rest of the time we partied in the heart of gold country.
I would love to visit. I could also pack up all my computer stuff for the job. I hope Cisco sees this post and joins in. It'll be our own little reunion.
BTW Hows brother Bob?
Hugs, and kisses...

Hey Jackie, what about us over the hill wannabees?
I have to go up to Camp Trinity near Hayfork for the 19th and 20th. Making your place on the 21st is a bit of a stretch, but it would be fun to visit again. Vic G

He Victor - Anytime is fine with me! In fact, I made a huge potato salad yesterday just in case someone, like Crazy Jack, showed up here. Our house is usually well-stocked for any event. Comes from my days of being poor with only 1 or 2 items in the fridge. I simply can't stand to see an empty fridge. Plus all the teens running in & out - it's teen central around here and you know how they get hungry (all the time!). You should see our Jenny - taller than me, and has her driving permit now. She's a beauty! Bringing in a 4.0 grade average on home schooling. So far, she wants to be an ASPCA Officer, but wants to take Business Mgmt in college so she can be prepared to start any kind of business she wants, and be successful. I have not doubt she will be! Anyway - come on up - just give us a holler. BombaDear

Sunday June the 1st, WOW I just saw this post and sure I would love to have a mini reunion, Thanks to Jackie Vaughn, well at the time she was Jackie B. So I called her Jackie the Bomb, at first she asked me why did you call me the bomb, she thought it was something that had to do with an odor I said nah, at the time when someone said you was a bomb, meant you was Tops, Superior, you know things like that. But thanks to her is where we started doing the traveling thing, she was our first invitation from the BB. Plus we met her family, Great people! Richard Bustamante and I took off on the road and started painting signs around the upper north part of CA. Later I ran off on my own cross country, took a lady parter. She couldn't paint as good as Richard, but she had other qualities that made up for it Only thing she thought I said vacation, I said "Working Vacation" big difference, anyway to this day she regrets she folded up after working in the sun and busting a little sweat. Ah well I got to find out what it was like to travel. In one way I guess it was meant to be. I got to find out who I was and if I could survive on my own in a country that is really like a mixture of different countries in one. Also got to meet a whole bunch of great sign people from this here BB. Not to go into a big story about it, but I will check my shedule and see if I can be out there with all of you. Sounds like it will be a blast!! You can almost count me in. I will give it a good try to be there!

Hey Cisco - you simply have to come!! It won't be the same if you don't. Beside - 'll put you to work on the fire engine, so it'll actually be another "working" vacation, eh? You & Richard made our local newspaper last time. I can almost guarantee you a spot in our local rag again. I sooo look forward to this. BombaDear

Hi Jackie! My name is Mike Pulskamp, I'm new around these parts(Letterville). I live in Sacramento but my wife and I do plan to move out your way, well at least that direction, in the next year or so. I talked To Richard Bustamante about going out to visit him sometime and since reading "Crazy Jack"'s profile I have been thinking that I need to meet him. Richard Said that I need to meet you and "Moon", and then this thread shows up... It looks like if I can get myself invited, I can meet all the movers and the shakers in the neighborhood in one fell swoop! Did you really mean anybody else? I will bring Pot Luck!

Hi Mike - Absolutely - Come on up & meet these great people. Anyone is welcome. There's just something very special about Letterheads. Until you meet them, you don't know what you're missing. I remember my brother & his wife dropped by when I had a Letterhead crew here - Steve & Barb's Big Adventure - and he told me later he was very surprised and had never seen a group of "strangers" that have an instant comraderie. It's a very special feeling - one I can't describe. I've travelled to a few places and ended up meeting a Letterhead. Every place I've visited I've never experienced such a warm welcome as when I encounter a Letterhead. I'll do a post about this meet in the next day or so. I'm in the middle of changing from my current ISP over to another offering DSL. As soon as I get my new e-mail address I'll do a post. Can't wait to meet ya! Bring the family - and a tent.
