I am looking to see if I can convert an older Ioline LP3700 plotter to cut vinyl. What are people using and where can I get a blade holder or cutter head for this unit, thanks in advance.

I started out with a converted lp3700 and I assure you it is more cost effective if you want to make profit to buy a vinyl cutter rather than convert a pen plotter to cut.The time and research the conversion takes will be alot more than you will spend on a good used cutter instead. If however you do not want to depend on it for your income and a profit there are after market devices that will permit this device to cut. I know of K-cad here locally and there are probably several others out there,....if you need help email me and I will see if they still support these old cutter/pen plotter conversions.
