I need to tell Mac users how to convert their files to PC. Especially Illustrator files to EPS. Make it simple Please.....Thanks

It isn't that long, it just depends what kind of file it is.

If the file is a vector file in Illustrator or Freehand on the Mac, then one can save it as an AI or an EPS.

AI is totally platform independent while EPS carries with it a TIF preview which should be set for PC. AI is preferred since the EPS preview isn't used for much except with applications like Quark Express and PageMaker. It's also important that the file be saved back to the earliest version that will still preserve its features and will still be successfully imported by your software. This is a menu selection during the save process and for most situations Version 3.0 is recommended.

If you are getting a raster image, TIF just needs to have a PC selection made when saving while JPG is platform independent.
