We're designing graphics for a Donzi. We usually use Avery vinyl but I was wondering if the salt water causes faster degrading and is there something better. All comments are appreciated.

Sharon, if it helps, I applied premium cast vinyl (6ft.x12ft.) to both sides of a 65 ft. catamaran for "OCEAN SPORTS" on the Kona side of big Island of Hawaii. They love it, its been over 2 years and it looks great, no clear overcoat, no overlaminate.
I applied wet with Rapid Tac II (from a dingy on the water).

I always use premuim cast vinyl for boat applications. Don't want to get into a brand name game. You can use the search function for 'vinyl' and see what comes up. There are lot of opinions about which brand of vinyl, etc. On a boat, surface prep is very important. Either to remove oxidation, or on a new boat straight from factory to remove mold release (a wax put on outside in manufacturing). Then I used Rapid Prep cleaner and Rapid Tac for a wet application.
