Bob, I got one and it works OK once you get the hang of it. You need the optional foot pedal switch so you can single-handedly laminate a 4 X 8!

How much is "cheap enough" in dollars, if you don't mind me asking?

We have the 36" Quickmount. It does everything we ever wanted it to do. It does take a little getting used to but it is easy to learn.
It cost us just about $900 brand new with the optional foot switch.
Have a great one!

Cheap enough is $1465.00 in dollars and another $55 for the optional foot operation switch pedal. That includes free shipping and no sales tax from out of state.
I plan to laminate only 48" prints and for my intended print of 24 s.f. that works out to about $6.00 per print. Not bad. Laminate at 3 mil costs about .25 a square foot.
I'm sure there are better albeit expensive machines out there but this will get me to where I'm going with little out of pocket up front.
