Ok now I've gone and done it, yesterday I sent a job to the plotter and realized it was the wrong text for the color loaded.
I stopped the plotter in the middle of the job for I have never found a good way to stop the plotter.
When I started it I held down the blue up arrow for some stupid reason and now the plotter just cuts an eighth inch line of computer code right down the middle of the material and the measurements of material when you turn it on is in metric.
I tried reading the CD manual but that is as frustrating as trying to wee this code the plotter cuts, lol
I hope howard is still here on our board for I feel like I have fried my plotter.
any and I mean ANY help would be appreciated cuz all I'm using now is my sherman tank to cut vinyl. and we now how sloooowwww they cut.

WELL!! Here's what I'd do... Turn off the machine, Hold the DOWN arrow and keep it down while you turn it back on again until it has completed it's RAM check. Put the machine in Pause mode...that's probably what caused the problem in the first place... the Pause button is NOT the button with the two vertical marks (like the international PAUSE symbol), but the one next to it...the MENU button. When you're in Pause, push the NEXT button until you see COMMAND. Select it and then select HPGL. Keep pushing NEXT until you get to LENGTH UNITS and select INCHES. You may have to push ENTER each time you select something to tell the machine that you did something. When done, turn the machine off, wait a few seconds, then back on again. Call me if you still have problems.. Howard 707 280 6360

P.S. You might wonder what that button with the stripes really does...It's our magic bail-out button. Call me for details...it's getting late. hk
