It was mentioned in another post that some of you are having problems with lodging. First of all, go to www.letterrip.org and look under lodging. There are LOTS of motels in the area but you should probably mention you are with the LetterRip group or they might say they are have no rooms available. Also, there is limited RV camping in town on a first come/first serve basis and a campground right outside of town if you want electrical hook up. You can pitch a tent in several areas a block from the meet. You can do the budget plan and stay in the Grade school gym a few blocks away (cots will be provided) if you bring your own bedding and towels. The grade school gym will be open for showers & washrooms. You can't believe how helpful and welcoming this town has been! They are really looking forward to having us all there. The townpeople are so NICE and it's like going back to Mayberry. We have a great group of project leaders, interesting seminars and a hardworking committee. We have a bunch of surprises planned for you so this is one you won't want to miss!!! Keep checking back to website as we put in new additions regularly. (Don't you guys think Dave Utter is doing a great job on the web site!?)
