I've read that some people rent out "Grand Opening" signs -- just wondering what the thoughts and ideas are on this. I have a customer who is having a "soft" opening tomorrow and the "grand" opening is in two weeks, so I have some time to present them with some options.

I do have "rental" banners .... "FOR SALE" ... "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" ... "SALE" etc.
My policy is the customer pays full price to rent them for a month and gets a 25% to 50% discount on their return in GOOD condition. The percentage depends on how long they have it and how much other work they give you. Just figure on getting your full price back PLUS over minimum two rentals or two months.
So, decide how many times you can rent out a "GRAND OPENING" banner [Smile]

I am much more blood thirsty than that. I rent 3x10 banners like that out at 20-25 bucks a week. Do it all the time. I figure this 20 dollar banner over here has made me about 250!!
