Ok, I'm sure everyone loves the Letterville. I am definately not trying to pull you from this spot. The bottom line is, I think I'm a message board freak. Can't help it, I love people helping people. Sometimes there's some clashing but hey we're human. Anyway, I am a screenprinter by trade and dabble in the sign industry. What I've done was create a new Message Board for anyone interested. The problem is, I need to get some real experts in the sign industry on the board. This is where my everyone on the Bullboard comes in. If from time to time you could just pop in and offer your assistance to anyone in need or even drop me a line in suggestions for the board, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! www.thedesignshopusa.com/forum

well, can't blame you for asking... I spend more time then I probably ought to on this board & 4edgetalk.com Since the folks at rapid-tac were pretty well known around here I started checking their new board when it first came on-line, but this awesome place is so well established that time spent here is always full of opportunities for education & entertainment, & I'm sure that didn't come easy but now that it is here, it has got the bases covered already IMO. I stopped checking other boards because there was more new info here every day then I would find elsewhere if I waited a few weeks.
So, no offense intended, & I know you said you were not looking to compete, but I do think you will always be somewhat in the shadow of a giant success here in letterville.
I did take a look though & I will say you have a great looking site & I'm sure a huge amount of work went into creating what you have done so I hope it goes well for you & wish you success in your endeavor.
As for opinions I will say that even with 5 or 6 different forums here, I see only 2 getting much real attention & this one forum getting the lions share by a huge margin, so for you to break you site into 45 different forums is not going to help populate it with visitors I dont think.

As Doug said so well....... this awesome place is so well established that time spent here is always full of opportunities for education & entertainment. And, I might mention..... FULL of perks, quirks and enthusiasium for the sign trade.... not just a place to visit because you are a "message board junkie". Please feel free to hang out and join in on the topics of your interest. If you are a sign craftsman and want to expand your knowledge or to share your input on sign related topics...... this is THE PLACE for YOU !!! W E L C O M E

I agree with the rest on the welcoming to "Letterville" My perticular(slant)on this subject is as follows, Did cold type printing,as well as offset in my early years. Silkscreen direct and off contact printing and screen making. Electric with modular sign production and installation. Air brush and pinstriping even gold leaf and carving Which ALL of these are discussed here with the benifit of "hands on" at Live Letterhead meets around the country. Don't think I have ever heared of a HANDS ON silkscreen gig before that would draw my attention BUT......That's just me! Been there,Done that,Like this.
Hope this helps

So....I guess I wont be posting on that board. Sorry.

Sorry Randy, I'm looking into it right now. It may be an IP issue. With any board there will be glitches. I think what is happening is more than one computer can log in with the same IP address. Quite a few computers come with a standard IP address. I will look into correcting that. Sorry for the mix-up so far. I appreciate your patience.
