I feel compelled to write alittle something tonight about the Woodgraining Seminar that took place today at my shop.
I had such a great time, and feel like I really learned some great new techniques.
I'm excited about the panels I did, and have some neat ideas for ways to use what I just learned.
It was just so neat to finally meet some folks that I have come to know and like on this BB. I'm so pleased to say that I like them even better now! Terrific people!!!
I must be honest in admitting that I was rather nervous about having so many folks at my shop at once, and also about us all being in my little workspace. It really worked out well, and tonight I'm tired yes ... and relieved, of course, but I'm oh so happy that I took the plunge in doing some things I've never done before.
Another leap out of my comfort zone for me! Tomorrow I get to meet some more new friends!

I really enjoyed Shep's Workshop. The work he had us producing by day's end was simply amazing. He's also a master story teller.
Our time here in Florida is quickly coming to an end. We're leaving early tomorrow for Ft. Meyers and the big Sandcastle Meet. By this time next week, we'll be headed North.
We're looking forward to a real good time this weekend. Come join in!

Glad the workshop was well received and that friends became closer. Guess the lasagna worked. Isn't it amazing how we get in proportion to how we give?
