Wayne...For anything like that I sub out the installation to a sign maintenance company who have the equipment and licenced electricians to do the job. I just mark up their price and make a profit by watching them do the work!

We would charge about 300.00 for installation plus a charge for the pole. My guy that builds these signs has a small truck (probably 3/4 ton) with a small crane on the back. It makes it great for lifting up but it would be possible without it-depending on how many hands you have and how many ladders.

I turned in a bid today and added $325 for the pole and install.
It shouldn't be any trouble getting a few extra hands to lift it up. There's really not that much to installing it and the thing comes already wired. Just add a photocell and a disconnect, run the exposed wire in some conduit, and make sure it's grounded.
Thanks for the help!

Wayne, you make it sound so easy.... What kind of foundation will this require? You have a third of a yard of concrete or more. A bunch of digging, some welding, are permits required? Inspections? How about the "call before you dig" survey? How much do you think a 12' heavy wall pipe costs? Having it treated tonot rust? Painting it? I think your installation price is a third of what it should be.
