Its true. I've been kicked off the net. Mostly, anyway. I post on 3 different firearms sites and I go into 3 different chats. Somehow someone figured out where our website is and what my real name is. The website has our phone number and contact information. Evenings and weekends the phone is forwarded to Lost Prairie cuz of the recording studio. This guy knew me as "1911sr", my name on the firearms boards. He didn't like how much a "girl knew" about firearms and reloading and he was trying to hit on me too!! Dad was furious! The guy wasn't on the phone long enough for a trace and caller id didn't show who he was either. Just "out of area". After 3 times Dad had enough. I've said good bye to all the people I knew on the boards except on AW. Dad thought that the guy might have come from there, so I didn't get to post a goodbye there, but he did let me into the private Moderator Forum to say goodbye to my friends in there. Dad is still a mod on the Basics forum at AW. I HATE STALKERS!! But its my fault too. I had posted our website address here and there cuz I'm proud of what we do, but I didn't think about pictures of me being there too. Now its all gone cept for here and one chat. I've talked about this forum in different places cuz I think its a cool place too wtih lots of knowledgeable people, but the guy might have followed me here. I'm telling you this cuz if it doesn't stop Dad might take me off here too. I'm SO stupid! I just can't seem to keep my mouth shut! I get excited about schtuff and start talking! Oh well. There aren't a lot of places in the firearms world you can be open about things if you're a girl. I don't know if I've learned anything except the net is full of jerks.

The net is full of jerks Rosemary, just as real life. It sucks that you get punished instead of the loser with a chemical imbalance who is doing this. It's scary to think that are people who lives are so pathetic and empty that they resort to things like this.

I think I'd be a little concerned about stalking a girl who knew more about guns than me haha Not to mention it was most likely her dad her taught her.

They say the pen is mightier then the swoard (I don't know if that applies if I can't spell) & I've seen you put a stray post-er in their place over here on this bb, way back when... but I guess the real sicko's in this world really do stalk with weapons. I'm sure your lock&load-ability is best spent as a sport. I would like to think Pierre would get the chance to trace this guy & bring down the feds on hisass.
Hopefully this somehow blows over so you get your on-line life back to calling your own shots.
You're right, even though I really appreciate all of the good things about the internet, like you, I get enthused about something and forget that there are some pretty nasty predators out there. I hope we haven't done anything here that'll cause you any additional problems. I also hope that stalker sleazeball gets tracked down & properly dealt with!! You've got a lot of friends out here and we, like your family, would take a very narrow-minded view of anyone that tries to bring you any harm!!

Sorry to see you go so soon, I remember you had a guy stalk to before and met you outside the shop or something. Do you think it's the same one ? It's a pretty serious offense, maybe you could get the cops involved.

Donna, that's an excellent idea, but I'm going to go one further. I'll email both you and Barb with my thoughts. She really is upset about all of this, but then her health is not progressing as we had expected either. She has a lot with which she must deal right now. I'm thinking of sending her to Alsace Lorraine for a stay with her grandmother. There's a new Neuro not far from the village if she got in trouble, so that may be an option. Thanks, guys.

Well, I admire your Dad for wanting to protect you from the pervs here in the WWW..... I don't care if you are 65 years old..... you will ALWAYS be HIS little girl !!! So, please don't be upset about moving out of your chats.......... just change your handle and let your TRUE buds know who you are and be more cautious in the future. And, we here in LetterVille will always accept and value your input on different topics !!! Thanks for hanging out with us through thick and thin !!! (and, yes, I carried the 1911 on a regular basis while on active duty in the Navy)
