In case some of you currently have sun stroke and have forgotten that the WEsT Coast is infamous for rain, we'll, it's raining.
It rained for the whole month of March. Now we're 1/2 way through April and it hasn't stopped.
Just curious Dan, do you like rain? And did you personally put in the order to the weather network to get me back for the snow fall we had?
Ok, being the eternal optimist I attempt to be, it has it's good points! Lush greenery, you get better at Nintendo, walks outdoors with an umbrella, deep puddles in the driveway, hearing the pounding raindrops on your roof when you're warm and cozy inside, all those lovely romantic things.
However, I'd like to humbly request...
SOMEONE PLEASE TURN IT OFF, I'VE GOT CABIN FEVER, I'M PMSING, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF NINTENDO, AND I DON'T OWN BOOTS WITHOUT HOLES IN THEM!
I have so many jobs to do... and all of them outside. The trailer I'm building out in the driveway may just rust away beoofre I finish it.
But my theory is that we are having all the rain we will get this year... ALL IN A ROW. Which suits me fine too.
We begin working on Giggle Ridge next week... RAIN OR SHINE.
And I don't even own a pair of boots... and the water is above my shoes!
Tomorrow will be better Donna.... or next week at the latest!

Rain! Yer should be so lucky it ain't solid stuff! Last time I was in Vancouver it was still snowing in MAY! hahahhaahha Shock to the system to say the least, having had a "year" of summer (6 months in NZ and 6 months in Southern California) How the hell you "up-overs" deal with ice, snow, rain and cold I don't know. Would send me stir-crazy over night! Do you hibernate? But the summer in Abbortsford was beautiful. Got as hot as here and unbelievable long days:) Sun didn't set until 11pm, back up a few hours later. Oh, the memories. Gotta get back there sometime.

Sorry Donna. All that sunshine I packed with the banner must have leaked out! It was a nice day today, but this is the Sunshine Coast! Amazing what a difference a few miles makes.

I got tired of listening to how you Canadians find happiness (skippity doo dah) trotting down past the tulips to get your mail. So I thought I would break up the monotony for ya. Glad you like it! Rain is good. Rain makes mud. Mud can be fun. Rain makes clean air. (rids the farm of cow fumes) Rain clears the head. Yes! Rain is good.

Sunny clear crisp day here in Seattle.
