I am trying to find heat tranfer (reflective white) that I can cut with my Gerber 4B and apply to t-shirts. Problem is I can't find it with sloted sides (my plotter only uses material that has the holes on the edges). Can anyone help me on where to find this?

thanks

When I was using my old 4-B and wanted to cut material that wasn't available with holes, I used one of two methods.

1. I would save liner from previous jobs and remove the liner from the material without holes and put it on the punched liner.

2. Especially in the case of non-pressure sensitive material but also if you don't have liner, you can use masking tape to hold the material to a piece of good punched material.

If you try method 2, roll out enough material and tape all 4 edges. Try to keep the material tracking straight (flat) because the extra thickness may cause X axis binding.

Dave's right about reusing punched liner if you have the material (vinyl) to apply to it. try www.reflexiteamericas.com for what you're after. we tested some materials for them that were what it sounds like you want. they should be able to help you get it punched as well.
