I think there are a large number of folks still afraid(or nervous at least)about applying vinyl to glass with Rapid Tac/ Tac II.
Its actually very very simple; using "premium cast vinyl" in average weather, with Rapid Tac, and "mid-tac" trans tape.
Or, any other type vinyl (intermediate, econemy, mylar, polyester, reflectives, etc.)use Rapid Tac II. Also in cold invironments.
Glass (wet) applications should always be "low/mid tack trans tape" never "high tack" !
Never clean the glass with anything but The application fluid or Rapid Prep (for very stuborn residues). And always use a "cheap paper towel" this insures that there is no "chemical content" in the paper towel !
Now, measure, mark, spray very wet, throw the darn vinyl down on the glass, slide it into place, squeegee firmly (this means with lots a preasure) from the center out in all directions.
No heat ness., you spray the trans tape (get it wet), wait a few seconds till it starts to wrinkle up, now pull it off at 45 degree angle back over itself.
Thats it !

Thanks Roger. From all the postings I've seen, Your product sounds better than some homemade formula. I don't do alot of vinyl, so I have a few questions: If a guy wanted to be Mr. cheap-guy (why is everyone looking at me? this is hypethetical!) could he/she use Rapid tack 2 only and not buy #1? Does Rapid tack 2 work in hot weather? Does it work on fresh paint? When you said "clean with application fluid", were you refering to Rapid tack 2? I spend alot of time in 1895, so thanks for bringing me up to speed. Jim.

Yes you can use r.t.II for all films, but using r.t.II on premium cast films on a warm day will leave you a very short positioning period, meaning it will bond VERY fast.
Rapid Tac was designed more then 15 years ago for premium cast films. Rapid Tac II was designed (completely different formula)in 1996, for films that required more initial bond in less time.
Try it on me, mail@rapidtac.com
