Just got back from Alberta and I was curious about the town signs on Hwy 13 from Provost to Camrose. Every town along that stretch had a sandblasted wood (didn't get that close - could have been HDU) sign with a painted pictorial. They looked to be done by the same person and were really attractive. I found myself eager to get to the next town too see their sign, slogan and pictorial. I was just wondering if this was a government or highway project or if someone is just a good marketer. Anyone know? Do any ofthe other Alberta highways have the same sign system?
