I won one of our letterville auctions a few weeks back, and it arrived while I was away recently. Its the Express Sign Art cd.

I guess what I didnt realize is that someone thought it appropriate to rename the Designers Cafe cd by Jack Wills and put a new cover on the accompanying booklet, and I already own that one!

I paid $40us for the cd, and it looks like it was another $37 charged by ups for customs/brokerage fees.

I'm open to offers for trade or what have you.

Hello Tim - I too am curious about what you received.

Steve's drawing stated that you would get one of two CD's "Art Schilling's Vehicle Graphics CD-ROM or Brian The Brush's ABCDeSign CD"

Designer's Cafe was renamed to Sign Shoppe Design Collection, and I have a document from Jack Wills dated 2001 that passes the copyright to me. Jack did tell me that he sold SignGold and others a fixed number of copies prior to dealing with me, and that might explain it if the disks are old inventory.

So, if you have a NEW disk offering the same art, I am very interested in knowing the source. Victor Georgiou

Hi Victor! This cd is from a letterville auction from signwarehouse.com. This is not to be mistaken with the signgold cd, which was won at the last residents draw. Sorry if I was confusing.

Edit: cd says: VinylExpress/Signwarehouse.com by permission of Studio Design Works / copyright 2000

Hi Tim

I was just about to call long distance information for your phone number since I could not find it here. Thanks for the feedback.

As I recall, Jack did sell a fixed number of disks to SignWarehouse. In that context the 2000 copyright makes sense.

It looks like you have a completely legal disk.

Trade away! You should be able to sell it on EBay if all else fails.

Thanks again - Vic G

I was just going to clarify the same thing. Tim won a SignGold Starter Kit in the March Drawing. I think that's different than anything he may have bid on in the auction.

So Tim...we're waiting to hear from you reagarding which starter kit you'd like.

Starter Kit 1 contains Art Schillings Vehicle Graphics Cd, which is 200 pre-designed Truck Door Layouts.

Starter Kit 2 contains Brian The Brush's ABCDeSign, which is 50 sign and truck door templates, 160 popular trade icons, some hand-wrought words, 10 K.R. Coleman trade cartoons, which can be combined to create 6,500 instant layouts.

Both kits also include 2 yards of SignGold genuine gold vinyl (your choice of patterns, see our website www.SignGold.com), a "working with SignGold CD, a P.O.P. display and a pricing guide.

Let me know which you'd like, a give me a shipping address. Thanks and congratulations.

Keep on keepin on,
Brian Briskie

Hey Brian! thanks for popping in. I have been meaning to explore using signgold and this was a great surprise to win. I see I recently missed a signgold Q&A you had. And now i guess I do have a couple questions.

I am not sure about which pattern to try. It would be my assumption that the large engine turned may look innapropriate if I just wished to play around with some small ideas and graphics, in this case would the miragold be a better choice? On the other hand, as a volunteer firefighter, I would love the opportunity to give one of our trucks a facelift with signgold and I really like the look of engine turned for this.

Ok, ok, I see what this is coming to, I think I need a second starter kit with the Fire Dept cd. Hey this is fun! This must be how Dan Sawatsky feels in anticipation of exploring the creativity of new territory.
