Hi Ladies & Gents,

Thanks for all of the input to "The new Guy" post I left a while back first of all. You were all VERY helpful. [Wink]
What I need now is a suggestion on which digital printing setup that would be affordable and economical for a newbie. The "Edge" would be my first choice if I had lots of money to spend right off... but I don't. Is printing on banner stock a tough and expensive venture is another question also. Thanks in advance to those who send me their two cents worth.

Rick

Rick,

It really depends on what kind of market you are going after.

For myself, the Edge is the way to go. I do a lot of short-run decals and very little wide-format printing. I get a lot of calls for the first and very, very few calls for the other.

I would recommend going to www.gspinc.com and check out some of the financing programs that Gerber has to offer. We got our first Edge through their leasing program.
