Hey Heads, I've been having a problem with Signlab colormaster 5.0 lately. About once a month it locks me out and I get an error with password prompt. If I replace the password and enter the software, none of the features work: weld, copy, paste etc. I have to then re-install the software and reset my settings, which is getting to be a real pain in the butt. I've called Cadlink before and they can't seem to help me. I was wondering if any of you have had similar problems, or know how to correct this? Maybe its just my pc but I have no clue.
Thanks for your time, Ryan

I have had this as well as many other problems with SL. While I love the program, it is full of bugs that the gurus at CadLink refuse to acknowledge. If you contact them, they will give you the “canned” excuses and hope that you figure it out on your own. Mine did it until I upgraded the box with a new MoBo etc. Haven’t seen the glitch in a while, but I’m sure that it’s there waiting to show it’s ugly face. Pat

Your computer is not by chance a Gateway is it? I had a similar problem with an earlier version of Signlab running on an older Gateway. There was something about the way the motherboard was configured that caused the problem. I changed computers and solved the problem. Just a thought!
