After a year or so determining if the yellow pages are worth a damn or not, I've pulled my display ad in favor of their cheapest one-liner. I discovered that 96% of my earnings are word-of-mouth....the remaing 4% not even close on covering the expense of a display ad. In addition, I totally deleted ALL long-distance service on both my business and home lines, and popped for a digital cell-phone with free long distance. You can dial my regular business number and it rings on the cell-phone(or not....your choice). My savings off the top for these changes is $285 a month!!!!!
