I came home last night not feeling well and had a crappy day. Waiting at my door was a "panel" shaped box. "Cool, my panel from Michael Boone showed up!" (I knew it was on it's way). I looked down at the label and saw it was from Mike Languein instead!
I hurried in and opened it up and this is what Mike made for me. (The pictures just don't do it justice. Every time I look at it, I notice something new)
Mike and I kinda got off on the wrong foot at the beginning of this panel swap. He had made a comment that I took offense at and I made some snide remark back at him. At the time, I didn't know Mike or understand his humour. Since that, we have exchanged many e-mails and I completely misjudged his character. He's an extremely talented sign-painter and his humour and wit is unmatched.
Thanks so much Mike! I hope I can pay you back some day.
I have always appreciated your great sense of humor!

Ryan, the small black lettering reads "1st Letterville Panel Swap 2003 Mike Languein".
I don't think the pictures really show it but the flecks and streaks above the "Y" are acually gold leaf. Mixed with the marbling, it's a really cool effect.

Mike, what a cool looking panel. Certainly not a 'Lenny' original eh? Terry, you are one lucky recipient. You are also a well deserving recipient, as for all your efforts on the panel swap have not gone unnoticed.
