BOY IAM AMAZED!!!! i remember the xmas that HP made the HP-550 debut. was $599.00 and i waited a couple months and got it for $499..such a deal!!!! well went to best buys the other day(wifes old HP-672 wont pick up the paper any more, got hand feed it)we was lookin for a inxpensive printer, as i want to get the CANON S9000 or I9100(check them out). we looked at the EPSON C82...1200x4800 DPI, waterproof inks, does 4x5 photos full bleed, 8.5 x 11 with a .25" border. 4 individual ink cartridges(and they are $11 each)and it was ONLY $129.00!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!! we brought it home and outa the box printed a 8x11 photo on photo paper at best resolution, now it took 15 min to print...but you cant tell it from a processed photo!!!!!!!! wife was heavey into photography, i built here a complete darkroom in the house in sarasota. so she wanted something that she could get back at it with. also she needed a scanner that would do slides,35 mm neg, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 or 4x5 negitives. well most ive looked at that did this was in the $3-400 range. MICROTEK 5900...4800x 1200 dpi, does ALL 3 NEGITIVE SIZES, and i still theink they had the price wrong but it was $149.00!!!!!!!! so now shes got damn near a photo lab quality printer and scanner for less then $300!!!!! oh i still got that $499 HP-550, its in the mobile sign shop!!!!!
