if you mean to help you make a pounce patterns.....

get corel draw and cocut por. it will operate a plotter and use a pen instead of a balde. it will draw your patterns. this may be a good start...

Wow! You've been registered since last August and this is your first post. What restraint! Somebody must have said something you agreed, disagreed with or found offensive or just loved. Where have you been.

Like Curtis Said Corel will give you a real headstart on pounce patterns. There is a little cleanup needed for cutting spray masks from the clipart, but drawing your own give you good control.

I personally like Illustrator better, I started with Corel but think Illustrator is a little more intuative. Though it cost more than CorelDraw suite. I do not use clipart, but Corel has a lot of different fonts, and Image editing software, and trace program you can convert images to usable lineart. With Illustrator you need Streamline, and Photoshop and CadTools to draw in scale. Are you Mac or PC, or have you decided?

GET PRINT ARTIST $29.00!!!!!!! neat little program. if you dont have a plotter this peorgram will print out 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper that you can tape together. or if you have a wide carrige pin printer you can run patterns on it. i started out with PA and a wide carrige printer and i did patterns in PA up to a 3 FOOT X 30 FOOT LONG!!!!!the nice thing about PA is it has a COLORING BOOK mode to its print output, which meas it will only print lines!!!!! also it got tons of clipart....and then i got corel.
