Tired of getting splinters from my wooden ladder, and of bouncing around while I climb up my flimsy aluminum one...What have you found the best- mostly for vinyl and light sign installation.
I have seen a great looking ladder at the sign shows that folds up a dozen different ways. Would like such a ladder that could be used as a small platform for lettering box trucks, etc...
Thanks for any experienced info!

Those that you saw at the trade shows are great. They are called "Little Giant" and well worth the money. I've had one for five years and it has paid for itself several times over. Because it folds up into a small package, it can be carried in the trunk of your car.
I think that Sam's Clubs also sells them.

I have a litte giant knock-off that I bought @ sam's club. It's not as durable as the real thing but I paid less than $150 each for 2 of them. They're great for lighter work like you describe. However, If I had to use them every day, I'd spend the extra money & go for the real thing.
Havin' fun,

I have one of them fold up jobbies and love it. Fits in the trunk of the car, 13' fully unfolded or a 40" high platform (perfect for box trucks)... or a number of different folings/angles for different situations. Also recently go a telescoping one that starts at 2' high and scopes to 13' ... it's cool too, but not as.
