I agree with David. With a name like "Budget (anything)," you're apt to attract bargain hunters. There is a lot more to being a "high-end" shop than the prices you command.
Now offer two alternatives, cheap price for cheap-o signs, a higher price for nice work!

David and Dave both have a legit thought, For 7+ years my name was Metro Quick Signs and Banners. About 2 years ago I dropped the "quick" trying to reduce my stress level, It WORKED! I still get a request now and then for emegency type work but most people thought if my name was quick they should make me live to it! My lead times really haven't changed much but by not promoting the "quick" I can take the little extra time to make a job just right or for that extra long leisurly lunch on occasion with out feeling guilty. So, to make a long story short, by dropping the "Budget" for something more "exspensive" you'll have less whining and moaning over the price.

I raised my prices before the summer. Most of my steady customers told me that it was no problem and that my prices were cheap. The few that had a problem i just said it was related to the price of oil, Everything went up.My supplies and the gas it took me to get to them. Good luck, Keith

Change your name to Big Budget Signs. Let them know you expect them to leave their wallet when they order a sign from you. You will find a mush better class of clients come looking for you if they think you are in the high end of the quality and price spectrum.

Christian, Many years ago my rates we $15 per hour, went to a Letterhead meet and listened to Jeff Cahill's seminar on pricing. Went home and raised my rates to $35 per hour, I was expecting to lose a lot of my regular customers but I had to do something I was broke all the time even though I was busy all the time. Yes, I did lose customers, about three or four that always complained of my prices before I went up, GOOD riddance. You can't get it unless you ask for it! On the name, what people conceive of you is what they expect of you, the word 'Budget' does give a connotation of being low priced so you may want to consider dropping it. I have recently dropped the word 'SIGN' from our name to just Elliott Design, not that we don't do signs any more but our company has evolved into more than a sign shop, we now offer photography, web sites, graphic design and creative ideas for many different projects for our customers. Glad I went to that Letterhead meet back in '84 and I'm glad I listened and acted accordingly.
