This one guaranteed to get the taste buds going!

[Smile] [Wink]

Its 1/2x2x4 inch slab of very tasty cheddar cheese, plastered with similar thickness of "Vegemite" hahahhahaa
Home made pickled Onion on the side [Smile]

No wonder I wake up in the middle of the night with bad dreams and a raging thurst !!!!

Jon

Your snack didn't get my taste buds going... to me it would be a recipe for heartburn all night.

I would rather have a small bowl of locally made (really smooth) ice cream with raspberries and a sliced banna (like Mark) on top.

But enjoy whatever it is you enjoy and I will do the same!

Don't you yankee varmits know about "possum-the other white meat"?
Seriously, homemade cookies. My wife is the 14th of 15 children, none adopted. Her job was to cook in the kitchen. It's her art form. In the decade I've been married, I went fromm 175lb. to 240.Of course I exersize now, and I didn't before, so it's mostly in the shoulders don't cha know!
You ladies are saying "15, NO THANK YOU!", but hey a Minnonite freind told me about a woman he knew that had 24 children. Seriosly, 6 sets of tripplets. Somebody's gotta work the farm!

Popcorn and a coke. A couple hours after that the carbo rush disappears and the crash settles in, makes for nice sleeping.

So Jon you really want a comment on vegemite? If you put just 1 cc of that stuff in your mouth it takes 5 cherry ripes to wipe out the taste.

We don't but that stuff here. The dogs deposit it on the sidewalk for free. [Wink]

Prepare to be edjamacated.

Vegemite is a yeast extract made from the byproducts of the beer brewing industry. It may taste like crap but it's a byproduct of the beer brewing industry and if we didn't eat it they may not brew as much. 'Nuff said.

Whew, I thought that pickled onion was a fingertip that had been severed by the knife!!

Anyway, to answer the question: oranges or grapefruits. Anything heavier than that lays on my stomach.

Bad habit of cereal in the middle of the night....tryin' to quit that.

Spicey stuff!!! I'm not so much a sweets craver as a salty craver.....

Tortilla chips, cottage cheese and hot salsa

Last night driving home late from Seattle....I munched on a variety of green olives from the market.

Only wished I'd had some baguette and cheese to go with them!

Oh...and spicy pork rinds!! (Just hold yer nose when you first open the bag!!)

Jon...I LOVE Vegimite and Marmite!!
And if you've never tasted it, it's a lot like beef boullion or soy sauce in flavour.

And if that is a sweet pickled onion, YUMM!!!

A:)
Anyone for Escargo?

If I'm home, I'll usually go for a scoop of ice cream. Cherry Garcia or Mint Chip.

If I'm at work late, I usually go back to the kitchen and get a plate of brownies for everyone to munch on. We need a jolt of sugar and caffeine to get us past the 9pm hump in order to survive the last few hours.

Last night we hit desperation and I got the cooks to make us brownie sundaes with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Being married to the chef has its perks.

Then around 10:30pm, I go back and make myself a cup of green tea. Helps to warm me up and it's comforting. When I get tired, I get cold.
