We do some printing of decals(and die-cutting to shape) using our Gerber Edge. The problem has been in the final stages of finishing the job. A good number of customer are happy to get the finished product on a roll, particularly if they will be using them "in-house" (like logos for machinery or "hard hat" decals).
In some cases, however, our customer just wants to "hand them out" and is expecting the decals to be cut apart and banded in stacks of 25- 50. We have used an old fashioned paper cutter to speed the job- but it is still time consuming.
Slicing the 15" rolls perpendicular to the roll length in "sheets" and then stacking (like up to 5 sheets at a time when printed on intermediate vinyl) and cutting between the decals (splitting the .1 inch seperation between decals) is a little time consuming.
Has anyone ever used a "Rotatrim" cutter? or any other brand? I know "printers" have cut sheet sizes and big, bad paper cutters that can slice thru a ream of paper. Just wondering if there was any such machine in the vinyl business.
Also, is anyone aware of any sort of intermediate stock that is set up for decal printing with the "crack and peel" backing? (the kind of backing paper that is cut half way thru from the back to make it convenient to remove the backing paper prior to sticking the decal.
Any help would be appreciated.

Back in December, someone else posted the same question. One of the replies was that MacTac makes it, it is called Mac Starliner. Sorry I don't have a phone number, but Ameriban sells a lot of MacTac products.
