OK, I guess those that were on the ball enough to make the deadline should be recognized.
I have a couple more pics but didn't include them because I'm not sure if the recipients have got them yet.
Right now it is just a directory of pictures. You'll have to look at them one at a time. The file name represents the name of the person who made it.
As you'll see there's still aroung 65 panel pics still to come in. As soon as I am done my panel, , I'll be getting the webpage set up. It will include any details I've received about the project and who it was shipped to. There are also a couple good step-by-steps that will be included.

Great Panels guys. Take a extra look at DeWayn Cannots panel he hand painted the fake bamboo caining SP?. No masks it's hand striped and he also puts shadows where the caining is weaved together. He is a LITTLE PSYCHO. I mean that literally

Great stuff there, everybody! OK, now the rest of you get busy...I WANT MINE!! The UPS guy is getting tired of me flagging him down and asking " Ya got my panel today, dude??"

I've enjoyed going through all the panel pics a few times already, & will do so again I'm sure, but thought I'd make a suggestion.
This may already your plan Terry, but when more pics are ready, rather then mix them in alphabetically would you just set up anothyer link to "round 2" pics?
Also would you see any persuasive value in putting a timetable on when the 2nd round of pics will post?

Great Job Terry and All, I put my panel in the mail today. Although I have been in the sign business for 30 odd years, I have never done a panel. I hope my recipient likes it, but most of all I hope someone somewhere can, in the letterheads tradition, learn something that they didn't already know, or teach me something that I didn't already know, by posting a step by step. I have my step by step posted, please go by and take a look. Feedback is welcomed! http://www.artssigns.com/letterhead1.htm Bill Biggs

What a bunch of eye candy ... and that's only about a third of it ... more to look forward to.
How'z about all the slackers get cracking so Terry only has to build a page once (which I'm sure is going to take some time and work)
Bill, I think that is one of the most thorough step-by-steps I've seen ... very cool ... thank you.
My step by step is nowheres near as complete ... I didn't buy a digi cam till I was already done (bought for x-mas ... finished panel before thanksgiving)... my film pics sucked, but I tried http://www.slamgraphics.com/tips/hockeyshirt/

Mark, HOLY COW! I thought you just airbrushed a real jersey. Man that is really cool! The talent in this place just never ceases to amaze me!
Keep the picts coming!
Bob, Fantastic step-by-step. Why doesn't the potato make the gold leaf gritty? I always wondered the same thing about talc powder. Never could understand how you powder before you put on the size and don't have a gritty sticky mess. Of course I don't know if I know all the steps either!! Thanks for taking the time to do that!

Bob, that was a great step-by-step! Probably not quite enough information to make me regret ordering Kent Smith's Gold leafing techniques book this morning, but enough to assure you that in a little over 3 hours since posting you have, in the letterheads tradition, taught someone somewhere something that they didn't already know. Thanks!

Awsome Stuff so far and Congratulations to those of us who met the deadline!!
I was about to blow a gasket trying to get my panel done on time (I know....I've had PLENTY of time but... ) because I was sure I'd probably be the only one late!! However, between Terry's comments reminding us to have fun with this & realizing the 64 other folks out there are still working on their panels...I feel a little better.
My panel is in the finishing stages & should go out this week. Meanwhile, I really enjoyed the pix & if a package comes for me I'm gonna wait to open it until my panel's shipped out!! (a fella's gotta have some kinda self-control, right?)

I just now added the pinstriped edge to mine...that's about it, just needs a shot of clear and it will be ready to go (after the clear dries a bit)
My first ever attempt to stripe an edge.....I need practice, but if ya don't look too close.....
This has been fun, I wish I could just do these all the time...lol

awwwww Mark...I've got plenty of room but first I had to build an easel table so I'd have a place to draw a pattern and to build the table I had to track down the tools to builld the table and then.... well, that's my story and I'm stickin' with it!!
A:), we CAN do this all the time!! Who knows, we might even hit the deadline next time!!
This will be the my first completed panel & after sweatin' it a lot trying to settle down on a design I finally got started and it's been fun!! I almost didn't look at the pix of the completed panels but decided that since mine's too far along to change now it wouldn't hurt anything. Glad I peeked because I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of them!! In fact, I'm already planning to do this again and also am determined to get another panel done before Fred's meet in OKC!! Meanwhile...... I'm still trying to find 2 sheets of HDU that measure 4' x 5'6" each (they've gotta be here somewhere)

I haven't logged on to much in the past. And I like to know more about the Panel Jam. Can anyone get in on it, or is it for residents only? Am I to late to get involved?
Some sweet work being past around and like to pass a small piece to someone in hope to recieve one back.
Thanks...

Sorry Stephen, you're too late for this one. It began back in the summer and is coming to a close now. The deadline to have the panels done and in the mail was the end of January. As soon as mine is done, , I will be putting together a website of all the pics and the details about them.
It began with a list of everyone that wanted to participate. I then drew names to determine who would send their panel to who.
With the response we got with this one, you can be sure we will be doing it again.
Guess you'll have to start coming back more often to make sure you catch the next one.

Terry, Got my panel from Joe Endicot today! Thanks Joe..great personalized panel that has a unique look! But Joe did you have to use so much black vinyl..took me forever to get it open...hahaha. At least all your packaging kept the panel safe & unbroken. If you have Joe's picture Terry you can post it now. Judy

I was just looking at the pics tonight and realized nobody had mentioned the fantastic snowflake by Bruce Deveau. That is all gold leaf hand burnished to give it a beveled look. Wish there was a good close up of it. We have a great piece Bruce did for us in Mars, He's truly a Master's master, You ROCK Bruce!

We're very proud of the panel Bruce Deveau gave us at last years Mass Mayhem. This guy has an amazing relationship going with goldleaf. We're very fortunite to have a craftsman and teacher like Bruce in our presence.
Dewayne Connot is another. Many of us have had the pleasure of literally watching the Connot family grow up over the years. What a great family! I only hope I learn to kiss-up enough to get a Connot Panel myself.
I'm relieved to say my panel is finally finished and heading West somewhere tomorrow. In the past, I have not always finished my panels. I'm feeling very good about overcoming my feelings of inadequacy, and actually finishing something worthwhile. Let's do this again.
