Happy Birthday to Doug Allan! Oh and Happy Groundhog Day everyone!!!!!!! Phil saw his shadow which means 6 more weeks of winter. No surprise there - it's been darn cold here lately.

Wow, Late to my own party! I hope you will all forgive me. I actually ducked out from the grid for a little bit. Out of reach of my computer.
I wanted to formally announce some good news when the real milestone is achieved, & when I get photos of it, (No Ronnie, not that) but I did mention my new house on one post already, so what the heck.
I bought a House!!! (with a cottage in back) I'm renting out the house to help with the mortgage. My wife-to-be (more formal announcements in the works)& I are fixing up the cottage before we move out of our industrial living quarters above my shop. Saturday we finally started putting down the tile in all 500 sq. ft. of the place after weeks of ripping out carpet, linoleum (not fun), and all appliances, fixtures, & cabinets (that was fun!)
The real milestone mentioned above is getting to move in. Hopefully this month. We are having the time of our life already with yard work, fence building for our dogs, a shed to help settle for 500 sq. ft. & so many other great things (& a little stress) that comes with a major life change like this.
Anyway, the tile is all set now, by my future son-in-law, including tile baseboards & window sills so I'll sneak out of work tomorrow again to help finish the grout & we're one giant step closer to the big day.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes. I'll keep you posted! on my news-to-be!
Thanks again to Barb for "scanning" & emailing me a Cake!

Yeah it does seem a little early out your way. It's still just late here, but should be early here soon too. Nothing like a little midnight oil to keep the sign biz runnin' smooth while I play homeowner this week.
