This small plywood rowing boat (24 ft) is about to take Oracal vinyl on possibly its toughest test ever, 6000 miles across the Pacific Ocean from Choshi on the east coast of Japan to San Francisco in the US. The looney, sorry skipper of this small craft is a mate, 38 year old ex-royal marine Mick Dawson, not content with having taken it already across the Atlantic Ocean with his equally daft ex-bootneck brother Steve, our Mick decides he wants to spend 6 months at the mercy of one of the hardest environments on earth , just thought you'd like to know that people stick vinyl to the dammnedest things. Any of you good people in the SF area wanting to meet a genuine nutcase are welcome to meet him sometime in October in the nearest bar to the harbour area where you will witness one of Great Britains finest drunk as a skunk for a week
