Getting away from the OT's. As a Letterhead it has been a dream come true to be invited to places like England to demo carving, Kentucky to be a project leader, and just got back from Ontario. Here I was picked up, driven 8 hours to Sharbot Lake to do demos on hand lettering, carving and gold leaf. Put up in a beautiful B&B,taken on a tour of the largest maple syrup plant, and a visit with a famous artist of Canada. My host Rodger McMunn cooked supper each afternoon and then drove me all the way back to N.J. Could life be any better?

Bill you are an exceptional artist/sign maker,
I was impressed completly with the range
and quality of your work. The rewards you are reaping most assuredly are the direct
result of your personality and open mind
first and foremost. It was a real pleasure
to meet you in Oklahoma!

Bill, you are just receiving back a small portion of all that you have given (and continue to give) over the years.

I personally regard it as a high honor to be counted among your friends. And I learn something from you everytime we are together....and most of it has nothing to do with signs.

Keep the "spirit" alive.

OK, OK, Bill!

NOW GET BACK TO WORK!!!!! [Wink]

Seriously, Those of us who know you, thank our lucky stars! Aside from your knowledge, talent, friendship, experience and your willingness to teach and share.....you're just a regular guy! [Smile]

There is a saying that goes...I wish I knew half of what you have forgotten.....except in this case....I don't think you have forgotten anything! So, I wish I knew one quarter of what you know!

Be well, my friend!
See you at the next meet! [Smile]

Joe,

Ray, you said it right!

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill at the Manchester meet and late one night we took a stroll together where I learned of his time in the navy and of his heart problems. a real gentleman. He did a sample of how to burnish gilded letters to create a 3D effect which was amazing.

you deserve the treatment Bill!

I have to agree with both Ray and Joe.

Bill you are THE inspiration to alot of us. I can only hope and pray to have the talent you have. I would also love to have that secret power that you have over the ladies. Can I borrow your cologne?

I was really upset that I couldn't make it Bill.
Having spoke to you, I tried to get myself down to Sharbot, but at such short notice, I wasn't able to pull it off.
Will I be seeing you at Quebec City?
I spoke with Richard, I gather it was a great lil' meet anyway.
Sad I missed it!

Hi Shirley, sorry we missed you. When you speak to someone, you are anxious to meet them. We could have fit you in very easily.
Yes, I intend to be at Pierre's meet. They have me involved in painting the chataeu for the logo.

Thanks for letting me know what happened, I hoped it wasn't an accident.

Randy, Sharbot Lake is just above the Thousand Islands.
Stephen & Ellen, thank you, it is always a pleasure to meet new Letterheads.

Ray, the feeling is mutual.

Joe, O.K. I'll get back to work, always happy as long as I can work.

Miles, Thank you, I remember the walk by the Pub on that cool and drizzle evening. Hope we can meet up again.

Harris, sorry, but there is no secret cologne. If there was one, you could have it, no problem.

Kissymatina, you know just how to make an old man happy, thanks.
