Super market went under and, someone blocked out the existing 7' x 55' flex-faced sign with water-based exterior paint. I got a close look....pulled on a couple of 'CRACKLELY" looking pieces of paint to check for adhertion...seems fine. The City (who is moving in there) will (this Fall) get a whole new sign al togetherbut, for now they need something temporary stating that it is the FUTURE HOME OF... you get the picture. Wondering how the vinyl will adhere to the paint. What kind of vinyl would give me the best stick for the price. I am guessing an Avery A5 or cheap MACAL will do the job. Not going to spend $ on 3m premium or A9 vinyl. What's a good sticker? Just curious what you think.

GOOD LUCK! Trying to get anything to stick to a water based paint on Flex Face, I don't know about this one, seems like a pain in the butt, maybe you can cover the entire sign with a new banner type of deal and screw it into the metal frame.

Hiya Corey, Consider a banner bag that will just slip over the top of the sign. It will look good and be more reliable than trying to get anything to stick to the paint.
Havin' fun,
