I just talked to a buddy over at travis air force base in fairfeild ca. and its true that they dont want any more mail or packages sent to troops in the gulf war at this time but was told to go to this web site http://www.defendamerica.mil and click on "support out troops" it has a bunch of other links telling you were you can send email, calling cards, letters and packages or cash to the different supports groups in each branch of the armed services and the USO and they know how and when will be the best way to get it to our fine fighting men and women serving our country. You can also call your local VFW hall or your local branch of the Red Cross for support groups for family members left at home.........lets get out there....our fellow Americans need our help!!! no one likes this war but we still need to love and support out fellow American.
