And you guys all think I go to theme parks for fun... NOT! Its work, work work.
And Rick, I'd love to come visit you soon. But there are just so many photos of signs in my collection, litterally ten's of thousands overall from 20 years of visits to these types of places.
One of these days I will have a letterhead meet at my place (right after I build my new shop) When I do I'll have all these pics on display. Maybe a continuous slide show only letterheads would enjoy
Here's another 6 from that same park. Still only a glimpse of all the wall to wall eye candy!

What I love about all these signs besides the creativity of the design is the variety of techniques involved in their construction. The photos show (and I thunked, bonked and scratched all I could reach to figure out how they were done) stone, sculpted concrete, signfoam, plastics, sculpted foam with hardcoats, fiberglass, digital prints, cut metal, cast metal, wrought iron, welded metals, glass, just about every technique known!
Like the signs at Disney, the work is nothing short of fantastic imagination!
And the more I look the more I realize how much I have to learn!

I wasn't up that late... I am on the west coast, three hours behind you. The post happened at 11:00 PM our time. It just registers at Ontario time. Same goes in the morning... I seldom post before 8:00 am.... 11:00 am your time.
I take great delight in discovering and recording great work and inspiration where ever I go. Janis & I have a great time travelling together and see it as a valuable investment as well as a much needed vacation. And it is all tax deductable on top of that!
I truely believe to be creative one needs lots of good input. I know it works for me.
