Ozzies live up-side down to you guys in USA>
Yes, the toilet water goes down opposite way
We drive on Left Side of the road!
Light switches here turn down to go ON and up for OFF!
BUT..... brought a new external 24x10x40 CDRW drive in LA on way home. $90! ... Half what we pay here. Had to buy adapter for the power point as we run 240volts here. NP.
Hooked it up OK. Installed drivers and software. Went to put a blank disc in it ..... didn't physically fit:( ????????
On Letterville Chat just now talking to Don and Curtis. Told them my problems. Even sent them digit pic of Drive and Disc along side it.
Don says "It looks like yer got the CDRW upside down on your desk" hahahhahaahhaahaaa

Dear John, welcome back. It's not hard to do things upside down. Floppy discs don't work that way either!
A question to you and any other aussies: I've just finished airbrushing a pictorial in Tautflex Air (water based), on an enamel panel (properly dry & clean) .The Viponds fellows said 'no problem', but their literature specifically avoids the word 'enamel' as a good or a bad substrate. What should I clear coat it with? Would a UV clear exterior varnish be ok. Ordinarilt I won't mix acrylics & enamels, but I needed the rapid drying time of the tautflex. Any ideas? Best wishes, Ian S-K

Didn't realise you read the BullBoard Ian How is the wife, the tribe and the horses?
You will have to post some photos here of that Stage Coach you built and striped. I'm always telling people about it.
Got some awsome pinstriping panels to show you from Fred's Meet.
Think any fast drying UV Clear would be OK, Ian. As long as it's sprayed on thin coats. I use a Solver Duragard water based one for murals and "Bushie" type panels over acrylics. Mitre 10 in Ruthvern Street have it. I buy by 10 litre drum ... yer can have some mine if you want. Call by on your next trip in to the "big smoke" mate. Still have your book historical pics to return to you.

Thanks, Jon. See you maybe Tuesday. I'll bring the sign/s. I've 100s of pics of that coach, but not too many are really 'good enough' ! You're right tho', I ought to put them somewhere. A home-made website one day.....
