Hi all, I have a few out of state clients who flew in for a convention here in maui with 10 24" x 36" digitally printed posters. They just discovered that the one of the few Hawaiian words at the top of each was misspelled. They had their designer back in Seattle send me some files last night after I agreed to come in on a saturday to help them resolve this. I had asked for the typesetting in an illustrator file with fonts converted to curves. What i got instead was a low res .jpg file & the font galahad compressed as a stuffit file.
Does anyone have the font Galahad that looks like this?
Or is anyone out there with a mac, & illustrator willing to recieve the font compressed with stuffit from me, un-stuff it & either send me back a font I can load into windows (if thats what this file contains) or load it in your mac, & typeset these few letters in illustrator for me?

Great help Alan, thanks a million. I saw this post right when you posted & checked my email. The client was here when I posted & of course impressed at this great network of helpful professionals we all have at our disposal. Thanks for the link to the conversion program. I'm set to complete this rush job & will look at that link later. Have a great weekend.
Ain't it great to ask for some help and get it? It is especially cool that it happened here. This is, I believe anyways, just the sort of thing that Barb and Steve had in mind when they started this. i bet you think that 50 bucks is chump change now, eh?
Way to go, Alan! That is the Letterville spirit! Woo hoo! I like it...
Have a great one!

Yup, it is mighty great! That chump change started flowing Steves way Very shorty after discovering this place. No perks were needed to see the value in that, but hey, I got some cool fonts too, & of course now the Tramp CD as well!
I learn so much here, but it is especially fun when I know what help I need & asking is all I have to do to get on with my job. And as a bonus, often, based on the questions answered, many people are learning along with me.
