Hey

What are you charging for logo services, and do you copywrite after receiving payment for services. Just wondering?

If a client wants a logo that incorporates a picture or icon with the name of the business, it will be more labor intensive than if they want a customized text. By customized text I mean an interesting use of type style to reflect the business. I quote prices from $250 for text to over $1000. for complex logos. How important is the logo to the business? Some types of businesses need a highly professional image more than others and a poorly designed logo could be damaging to their presentation. As anyone logo designer knows, it's real easy to spend 10 hours working on different ideas. Sometimes ideas come easy but most often it takes a lot of work.
