I came across information on this system when cleaning out my filing cabinet. Just out of curiosity, did anyone buy into this product and what is your opinion of it if you have used it. I know it contains the dreaded "F" word (franchise).

Kelly,

KEEP YOUR MONEY!!!! The only people making money with this business is Press-A-Print. It cost me $10,000.00 to find it out! Lesson I learned 3 years ago.
For instance, if you buy into it and then decide to sell, the new owner has to pay Press-A-Print a $4,000.00 transfer fee (to allow the new owner to buy supplies from them). This industry is a CUT THROAT business.
Best bet for anyone thinking of this is to sub out all this work. That's what we have done. A heck of alot less headache.
I have personally been to the home office in Idaho Falls, ID (very nice office)and also met and talked to people that have been in the business and I have yet to find a happy camper that bought into this company.
TEAR UP THEIR BROCHURES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

Hope this saves someone some hard earned money and headache!
You can now find this business opportunity at your local Home & Garden Show. Saw it myself a few weeks ago.

Thanks Eddie. I don't know that I was ever considering buying into the actual business - I was more interested in possibly finding someone who had whose dreams hadn't come through that was willing to dump it at a substantial loss. I have had the info in my equipment information file for close to ten years and was surprised to find that the web site still existed. Anyway, you answered that idea with the info on transfer fees. The file is now in file 13. Sorry to hear you learned the hard way. I'm still curious as to how well it worked. Are there any other presses similar to it on the market?

Kelly:
I had an opportunity to buy a new one for 1000.00 just last week. After checking everything out, including 4000.00 transfer fee, I said forget it.
