I sympathised with Cheryl as she delt with the loss of her old faithful dog recently. We went through that with our old Maggie this past fall. She had been a faithful member of our household for almost 15 years and was very tough for us to let go.
And I also shared Cheryl's joy as she got a new companion. We welcomed a new addition to our household and studio this past week.
We decided that Punky our five year old silky terrier missed Maggie as much as us. The house was just empty without two dogs.
So we brought home a new puppy... a spunky little 8 week old Yorkie terrier. Her name is Ditto. (she is Punky's dog) And what a handful she is! Unfortunately Punky is still quite bent out of shape to say the least but we are sure she will come around soon.
Janis & I are constantly entertained with the antics of a high energy 2 pound furball and Punky's failing efforts to keep her in line.

That little guy bears a striking resemblance to the resident photo in the corner there.

Very cute little puppy Dan!! We had a yorkie before Astro. They are great little dogs.
Bailey our new puppy is constantly keeping me laughing with his fun little ways. He loves 'helping' me with the laundry...I purposely drop a sock so he feels like he is helping and he runs down the hall to help fold the clothes. He chases my feet, chews on my hair (at 3am) nibbles on my fingers, tells me when dinnertime is and leaves an occasional 'present' for me in the corner. I am loving every minute of him!!! He is such a little lover boy.
Puppies are so much fun! They love everything and everyone! I will post a new picture of Bailey today or tomorrow. Have fun with Ditto!!!
