OP, I know what yer goin for.. check out Canon's S9000 inkjet printer, prints up to 13"x19" in only 2 minutes, the output rivals photolab.. I had my doubts about that claim but I saw some large prints this past weekend at a local event, you can't see any dots whatsoever in the prints.
The printer retails for $500.. much less than the Epson 3000 and I'm pretty sure the Canon smokes the Epson in print speed.
