Working on repainting a sandblasted wood sign with gold leaf lettering. Had a great article on it and put it in a "safe place" for future reference. Seems the shop mice liked it too and can't find it anywhere (along with that winning lottery ticket). Any info where to find the artical or on the project would be great! As for the ticket...who cares, I'd rather be paintin'!

Hi Patra,

What magazine was the article in?
If it was in Signcraft, there is an index/search on their site. You can type in key words and it will give you the issue and page numbers. www.signcraft.com

We have 9 sandblasted redwood and HDU signs scheduled for restoration next week. Give me a call tomorrow and I'll be glad to explain my procedure.

Wayne, any chance you could post some pics of your process as a step by step post next week?

That sounds like fun Alan, I just might do that.

I've already done the first step....washing the signs....and they're drying right now. I will begin restoring them next week but process will take a good week at least.
