I'm in a rural little town in Missouri. Yesterday I stopped at a little cafe for lunch and on the way in the door I noticed a 4x8' banner out front. It was a heavy material, 13oz most likely and it had 4 lines of copy in 2 colors and a logo. I ordered lunch and calculated the price I would charge for this. I came up with a price of $300.00 - $310.00. As I paid I asked how much the banner had cost and the lady said she paid $120.00 and then said "isn't that terrible?". I don't know if I'm calculating way wrong or what. I'm very new to the market and I wish to be fair and competitive. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Brian

Hmmm, Banners can be printed a lot cheaper than vinyl or edge print, I don't know, My dad always said it is worth twice as much as you can get, and that is half as much as you need LOL. Here's one that was 500 Dollars + Tax and install

welcome to the sign biss....4x8 banner, mdo, metal or on a wall..is still a 4x8...and thats 32 sq.ft. so at $10 a s.f it would be $320.00, at $5 s.f. it would be $160.00 and if they got it for $120.00 the guy charged em $3.75 a sq. ft. which is what i get for a banner made from the TYVEK roll i keep for the CHEAP banners.
