I have a VYTEK GEM 24" vinyl cutter that I bought in 1993 that stops partial way through a job.Vytek has gone out of business but if by chance anyone has one of these or knows of anyone who might be able to work on them I would appreciate the info., otherwise I need proven suggestions of a new cutter that will not only cut vinyl but also sandblast stencil as well. I understand that many manuf. say their cutters will cut sandblast stencil but my business is primarily sandblasted signs & I need info from someone who has actually cut sandblast rubber with their cutter. THANKS!

I have an old Roland 20" Camm 1.. I have had it for about 10 years......so far no problems....
I cut Sandblast Rubber all the time....If your blade is not real sharp.you may need to set your cutter to make 2 or more passes...two usually works for me.....But if the blade is new..one is enough. Shep'

Not a big alert, but on the topic of cutting S'blast mask, and double cutting. In the Old Days, with my old 4B, I used to break the tip off and exacto, with another piece as a shim to center it in the holder, and cut mask with very little weight, and in ONE pass.

Rick... It's said, "the proof's in the pudding". I'd be happy to send you samples of what the Graphtec 5100 can do...you name the material...make your own choice.
Also, we'll have a booth at the ISA show in Las Vegas. We will be set up to accommodate any cutting situation on the fly, so to say. We'll have most all materials normally encountered from metal-poly to Diamond Grade. You'd like the show, please come by and say hello, if you can make it.

I replaced a Roland 24" with a 48" Graphtec last year. Much as I loved my roland, I should have changed it sooner, it was nowhere near as productive nor precise as the Graphtec has proved to be.
