Bob Burns had a great suggestion to have a BB Dog Show. This is Dusty...
The day before Thanksgving, 2001, I was watching the news at noon on TV and at the end of the program a guy from the local animal shelter brought on two puppies. He said that the shelter had 6 puppies that had been found in a box together on the side of the freeway. We had been thinking of getting a puppy so I took a ride down there about an hour later. Dusty was the only one left!
We've been told that she's a mixture of German Shepard and Chow. She's very, very loving and fiercely protective of us, especially my daughter.

7 year old Sheppard/Retriever mix siblings. Koa on the left w/ more Sheppard looks & a very feminine nature, & her brother Bear, a goofy sloppy, self-centered male. Both very much part of the family

Took this photo of Kaiser the other day. He was outside keeping me company while I was cutting and painting sign blanks. Kaiser will be 13 this July.
Here's Jerzee, taken a few years ago. Also hangin' around outside. Jerzee just had a birthday on Valentine's day. I think he's about 9 now.

Since we are on the topic of dogs, I thought I would share an image of a dog and a sign I shot while in Ireland. They seemed to be a perfect pair.

Hopefully here is a pic of my buddy Hamr (pronounced hammer, named after hockey player Roman Hamrlik) Hamr is of undetermined breed, I say he's a Norwegian Beaverhound. He's about 100 lbs and just a big puppy. He's had an eventful week, Tuesday I came into the shop where overnight a large possum had decided to look around, BIG mistake, dead possum. Later Tuesday an old guy that collects cans in my neighborhood got scared by Hamr and hit him with a stick. When I came in yesterday there was swelling at his hock, so off to the vet. Broken leg, luckily in a good place. He's loving all the attention and especially the morphine based pain killers. Here he is with his cast.
She's 7 years old now but my sister and I adopted her at just a few weeks old, for our mother as a Christmas gift. We originally named her Angel, but after a couple weeks we all thought that Rizzo (named after Rizzo from "Grease" because of her baaad attitude) was more appropriate... hyperactive, overprotective, neurotic, doesnt like to be bothered or touched.. etc.. She DOES like lounging around though..
Riz in her fave chair (until I got a new recliner that is)
Laying in the patch of grass I put in just for her.. she has a sensitive stomach:
This is MY bed!
Yep, my dog climbed trees. She started off climbing those baby gates I had to keep her in certain rooms.. didnt work.

This is Bert. He came to us about a year and a half ago and is approx 6-7 years old. He is cool dog and does an excellent job at telling time... He knows when it is 8:00 and time for a B-O-N-E... the little bastard is teaching Bobby (see below) all about that scam, too...
This is Bobby. He is a 7 month old purebred Pomeranian (yes, he has papers) that someone dumped off at the shelter. We suspect it was because of his dental work and that young toy males are difficult to train. He is a handful but he has become "Daddy's boy" around here. He knew the right one to suck up to.
This place is really going to the dogs... LOL!

This is Roscoe. He's a mix between Neopolitan Mastiff and Old English Sheep Dog. 30" at shoulders and a healthy appetiite. Great shop dog. I don't think I've ever seen him with paint on him.
